    How about Aaron 'Hawk' Pryor?

Would come into the ring with his own chant. Get in the ring like a madman and stare at his opponent with an outstretched arm, just staring at them. Or like against DuJuan Johnson he started shadow boxing infront of Johnson and at one point punched him.

That's what made Foreman so frightening after Kingston. Patterson never had a reputation as a bad ass, while Joe really was a very legitimate and rugged one, who never doubted himself. Dempsey never believed he was invincible, while Liston actually hid a measure of shyness (due in part to illiteracy) behind a veneer of stoicism. Frazier's self confidence was such that he would sing before audiences. Patterson rematched Liston, because that was a world title shot, and Floyd had no choice but to try to beat Sonny to regain it. Joe didn't stand to regain the world title in his second outing with George, he got back in the ring with the monster due to sheer guts. Putting him down for the count would have required killing him. As Milt Bailey, a cut man for both Liston and Frazier put it, "Liston was a bully, while Frazier was a bull dog." Even in 1976, only a terror like Foreman could openly accuse Frazier of having been a quitter in Jamaica and get away with it.

I would say you would have to be pretty intimidating to scare Sam Peter.

An old, returning-from-four-year-injury lay-off Vitali frightened the **** outta Sam when Sam was champion.

    But as to the question...

    SONNY LISTON.

Liston is the go-to answer for this, but his look always seemed to say "I'm going to kick your ass because I'm so ****ing bored and irritated with you. I've been in prison and I deal with the mob. Who are you?"

    That was awesome.

I learned something about Joe Louis recently while going over his footage. It looks like almost every single time he knocks someone down, and the fallen opponents looks up at Louis, Joe always stares back. He turns his head away when the fallen foe is looking down or away. But when the foe is looking at Louis, he always makes an effort to stare back at them.

I think THAT is one of th most intimidating things a boxer can ever go through. Getting knocked down, looking up a Joe, and him staring at you back with a stare in his eyes that says "I HOPE you get up".

Lol, a new esb meme is gonna come out of this I can tell.:good

I always found Frazier very threatening boundless self confidence plus unbeaten and Dangerous statistics somthing like he knocked all but 5 of his opponants down.

Also the guy was unstopable in his prime very few backed him up and no one could get going on him.

foreman was scared of him. Which leads to why foreman was so well regarded/feared after Frazier was bounced around

    Ps:iPhones r a pisstake for posting
