Who said it wouldn't be competitive? I said it will be fun while it lasts, but I think GGG KO's him in the end. Could be a great fight.

They may be the same size but one guy clearly out classes the other guy physically and the smaller of the two does not have the skills necessary to make up for the difference.

Give Canello another year to ether improve his skill or physical strength. As of right now he is not fast enough to get out of the way nor the skill to deal with GGG 6 round let alone 12.

Head to head this fight is a easy prediction Canello gets crushed badly !!

Then why make this fight, when the prediction is easy ? Let the young lion come into his own then match them up!

As of right now, it a BS fight ! Canello is too young, too inexperience and does not Match up physically with GGG !

Why would any true boxing fan want to watch that ?! Give him a year !

Completely agree. For two reasons. One, it would be a big money fight because it would draw the huge Hispanic fan base and the true fight fan would be there as well. Two, once this is explained to the public it would gain traction. This could be a true superfight. Not this May-Pac nonsense.

That's a bad matchup for Alvarez.

I wouldn't be shocked to see him get knocked out in that fight. If he decides to stay in the pocket and trade with Gennady, it's not going to last too long.

Canelo has become a very good all around fighter, but aside from handspeed I don't know what advantages he'd have in a fight with GGG. It could be GGG's signature win if they end up fighting, because I can't see it ending any other way than KO before 9 or 10 rounds.

It would be a great fight though and one of the best matches to make in all of boxing.

From 200 to 1 underdogs to Alvarez for GGG. Must be a completely new experience for him to undergo a serious training camp.

Let's just hope it happens in a timely manner and I stress "timely." GGG isn't getting any younger and Canelo, really, is in his prime.
