The most logical ranking of Herbie Haye

Not what Haye hasn't done. What has Akinwande done in the last four years that is more impressive than what Haye has done.

Is Haye the only one who has to wait in line?

How many of your list has Vitali beat? He can't be top ten. Does he have to wait in line?

 

Vitali has had one fight in the last 4 years you dumb ****. He's been "fighting" at heavyweight just as much as Haye, infact less. Haye has 2 fights to Vitali's 1.

I can see where you are coming from with Akinwande alright. He's been active. Unfortunately his hot streak consists of 2 losses, one 6 rounder and another 10 rounder against a guy with a barely winning record. How desperate are you? Must have been awfully difficult getting those 22 names.

 

You can cry about it as much as you like, unfortunately for you the Klitschko's see it as an attractive fight for one reason or another. Therefore its been taken, even at the expense of your shitty rankings. Vitali has gone as far as to say he does not even care about the WBC and their rankings and mandatory, the fight will be made.

You might as well just embrace it, as the brothers have done. Smart men as they are. Haye offers something people in the rankings don't, quite clearly.

 

Err, Haye has fought more times at heavyweight in the last four years than Vitali.

And who care if Akinwande has fought at HW for four years. He keeps losing!

He might not deserve it, (I'd personally like to see him fight at least once more before he gets a shot), but that is not how boxing works. Rahman looked no better than a human punching bag at the weekend, and he got his shot. Holyfield is basically a walking corpse at this point, and he's getting a shot.

This works both ways too. If Vitali was such an up-front and awesome dude, he'd TELL Haye to get in line with everyone else, maybe Vitali is avoiding fighters at HW too. It seems convenient to forget about Gomez and fight the mouthy Brit with a suspect chin instead.

But ultimately, boxing is a business. I can't think of any bigger Heavyweight fights in Europe, this will do well in the UK, and across Europe. Boxing isn't about who deserves what, it's about how much money can be made. Everybody knows that.

The TS has a point.

On paper all's Haye has done in the HW division is beat Bonin and Barret so rating him outside the top 20 is justifiable but i think all in all you have to take into account his CW accomplishments and the way in which he dispatched Bonin and Barret and then guage how well he would do against the other HW's.

After taking that into consideration i think it is fair enough to rate Haye between 5-10 in the HW division.
