    Do you do big fights?

If you don't mind, can you explain how some judges can score things diametrically opposite to other judges? And also, your comments on some of the bad scorecards we've seen in recent years. Thanks in advance.

Not that big yet, the biggest (in terms of alphabet title sanction) i did was an IBF pan-pacific or whatever fight.

But I have tons of local experience though, lots of Philippine championship fights as well.

Regarding your next question about recent scoring blunders, I personally can't give any logical explanation other than these, either the judge is bribed/binded to the promoter, influenced by the crowd, or just plain incompetent and has no business judging a prefessional boxing match, much less a high profile world championship bout.

In terms of close fights, judge's are only human. We follow different guidelines in scoring a round and it depends on the preference. So a varying score in a close fight is excusable.

But for a lopsided fight, determining a clear-cut winner should be an easy task.

Tell me about it, I can still remember my very first assignment. I can't remember how many times I've crossed my self.

But I'm so proud of it, my father was there too.

The Mijares fight was the worst I've ever seen. I remember the commentators just assumed that the announcer made a mistake and the judge had scored it a shut-out for Mijares (which would've been quite plausible). They couldn't believe it when it was confirmed later on that, no, he had actually scored every round against the guy who clearly won.

Chavez Jr had a very close fight in Mexico (the first one with Vanda I think) where the local crowd started booing because one judge had Jr winning every round. His dad had to get in the ring and appeal for them to calm down.

The 119-110 scorecard in Martinez-Williams was shocking too.

Moreno has several dominant SD wins.

Garcia vs. Holt last year was pretty bad.

Mayweather vs. de la Hoya, everybody knows.

Eddie Chambers almost got ****ed against Dimitrenko! Although it was "only" a MD, it was a joke.
Even the commentator said "those scores are a joke"
