You lot are making me laugh calling pro fighters mentally weak, like you could do what they do. Knobs.

Mccall, mentally weak person maybe, mentally weak fighter? Well he held his hands down while Lennox Lewis punched him in the face. " Weak " aint the first word i'd use.

    David Haye deserves a mention.

I have never seen a more sad performace after so much big talk. I thought Haye was going to take Wlads head off ? To do that it requires to acctually thow a punch. Haye fought completely scared to open up on offense, he ran the entire fight then claimed he had a bad toe. The only thing Haye did really well was move fast, so I dont think his toe was too bad.

Got to say Tyson, when he couldnt intimidate a fighter he didnt look the same.

Strongest mentally Holyfield all day long.

Teddy Atlas has claimed that for years. He is a dickhead.

I think Tysons biggest problem was stanima. He threw every punch as hard as he could, so obviously the longer the fight would go, he would get weaker and more tired. So, when a fighter could survive Tysons early assualt like Douglas or Holyfield did by the time it gets to the 8,9,10 th round Tyson is getting tired. Him biting Holyfield is more of a sign of how crazy he is IMO. He was headbutted non stop by Holyfield. Holyfield is deadly with his head, it is bull****! If Holyfield was so mentally strong why was he on steroids and HGH?

I was responding more to the threads before mine. Of course there have been many boxers with mental issues, the thread went more towards calling boxers weak as in cowards. Oliver Mccall was no coward.

    I disagee about Tyson.

Tyson threw every punch like he was going for a knock out. Tyson would punch himself out!! I don't think it was like a mental break down against Douglas or Holyfield because he "couldnt bully" them like people like to claim. Tyson was completely exhausted because of his highly aggressive style, and always punching full power , he was physically worn down by the end of those fights.

Someone mentally weak is some one who never shows up to the fight. Not some one who tries to brutally knock out an opponent with every punch until they are completely exhausted. Mike would come out swinging like a pissed off uncaged animal. It is great for early in the fight but in the later rounds it is extremely strenuous on the gas tank.
