I agree about Benn. He wasn't just the bomber many make him out to be. He varied his shots well to the body and head, showed angles, and his regular use of the jab often gets overlooked. Benn could box, although aggressively. He wasn't multi-dimensional with his boxing.

present: Vic Darchinyan (he transformed himself from a very powerful slugger into a patient boxer puncher who can throw powerful combos to disrupt the opponent's rhythm)

not-so-present: Felix Trinidad (his athleticism makes him special, without it, his solid right hand is nothing)

past: Jake Lamotta (an excellent swarmer, iron chinned, aggressive fighter; his aggressiveness compensates his one dimentional style)

If I understand the topic correctly, I happen to think southpaw sluggers are the rarest of breeds in the sport. So I'd say Galaxy and Limon.

What he means, I think, is a fighter who either only comes forward or stays at long range but is extremely varied at everything he does. I included Duran as showed different gears, feints, countered well, brilliant to the body and head, cute defensively, etc, while fighting on the frontfoot.

That's what I thought. And that's why I said Bazooka and Khaosai.

    Among my all time favorites:

Mulit-dimensional: Arguello, a little slow of hand and foot, but there isn't a punch invented that Alexis didn't throw with precision.

One Dimensional: Danny Lopez, attack, attack, attack. He built his success on his heavy hands and not much else.

Always came forward, looking to crush your intestines, which he usually did.

As one-dimensional as one can possibly be, but with his lethal power, he never really needed any other dimensions to his game.
