I will name a few well-known. - Frazier - Quarry A great fight, though very one-sided. Quarry took a brutal beating and bravely lasted 7 rounds. - Foreman - Frazier Then a young top-contender destroyed an undefeated HW champion in less than 2 rounds. The fight was exciting but Frazier didn't have a chance Hagler - Hearns Absolutely epic fight, though very short and, to be true, one-sided. Hearns tried his best to KO Hagler but was never close to do it, while Marvin took the fight and KO'd Herans brutally and quickly.
Joe Louis vs Max Baer in 1935. Louis mopped the floor with him and KO'd him in the 4th. Also Greb vs Tunney 1, which was actually the first Ring fight of the year in history. Obviously we've got no footage, but reports on what Greb did to Tunney paint one of the most one sided beatings ever.
What about Dmitry Bivol absolutely destroying the Myth Ginger Canelo the self proclaimed King of Boxing & The Face of Boxing Dmitry spanked him like he'd stolen something. He didn't just beat Canelo he destroyed him took his heart, what bit he had, So much so he's afraid to fight any legitimate opponents today. What an embarrassment that was for the Clown King ROFL !!!!

Jorge Castro vs John David Jackson was pretty one sided in Jackson's favor until Castro caught him by surprise and KO'd him with a crazy comeback win.
RING would often list the most notable heavyweight fight of the year as its FOTY, which is why you had Tunney-Dempsey 1, Scheling-Stribling and Schmeling-Risko as FOTY's instead of more competitive fights at the lower weight classes. Same methodolody was used in '73, even though there were much better fights that year (Oba-Chionoi, Taylor-Anaya, Valdes-Briscoe I, and of course Ali-Norton I and II).
