Broner :deal His antics after the Paulie fight were a disgrace, IMO Paulie Won on points. Can't wait to see Boner get knocked out when he faces a hard punching opponent. He thinks he is the future of boxing, he is a nasty little **** with no redeeming features.
Completely agree. I won't buy a PPV with him on it, ever. The guy is a complete douche and *******. I'll watch him on free Showtime or HBO because I know in the near future he's going to get beaten to a pulp, but I wouldn't pay to even see that. The way he acts and what he says is seriously pathetic.
He's got no class and is just a Floyd wannabee, he is not has good as he thinks he is. Paulie showed class after the fight IMO.
How? He whined about the decision, claimed the fight was fixed, and got into a yelling match with Broner. How is that showing class? Broner acted like a pure jackass, but Paulie really didn't show much class himself.
Paulie went up to him after the fight and said well done, tried to make peace, IMO in an highly emotionally charged atmosphere Paulie showed some class, Broner just carried on with the abuse.
I'm give a few fighter that at one time or another could be called nasty ****s Ali,Duran,Holmes,The Macho man,George Foreman Tony Ayala Jr. And on and on same people hating him today will love him later.
Everyone knew that anyway if they ignored the hype. You don't get out box by Ponce and go on pound for pound lists.
Paulie did not win on points, and if you think so, you don't know how to score a boxing match. Hitting arms, elbows, and shoe shining with flurries doesn't win rounds over power punches snapping your head back. Punches that hit arms and elbows are not "body shots." They are "blocked punches." Paulie landed jabs. Broner landed power shots. Broner landed more punches overall than Paulie even after giving up the first 2 rounds. Broner clearly did far more damage than Paulie did as well. So not only did he land more, he did more damage when he did land. People really need to get their eyes checked. Paulie didn't land but maybe a handful of meaningful punches over the entire 12 round match. This isn't the amateurs with computerized scoring........
He avoided anyone that could punch.. anyone that was a legitimate title holder...he took peds most of his career...he was American....can't remember his name...eh? Anyone know
most hated? yes, most overrate?, not so sure Broner may have talent, and he may have picked up titles in 3 divisions, props to him for that, you can't take away his achievements at just age 23, but he is a complete douche with no respect for anyone, no wonder so many people can't wait to see him get KTFO'd
Broner acted like an ass, that's obvious. But Paulie showed very little in the way of class himself. He has no proof that any of the judges or Haymon did anything wrong. Despite that, he had no problem defaming them due to his inability to deal with a loss. It makes no sense for Paulie to complain about Broner's antics considering his own actions.
Learn the difference between most hated and most overrated. I think if anything he's underrated. Most people rightfully hate his fcuking guts. But that shouldn't take away from your assessment of his skillset. As a 135 pounder who moved up two weightclasses at the age of 23, I think he did well. And I think he left a little in the tank more than he should have. And as far as Paulie showing class??? Some of you ***gits are so transparent. Paulie showed NOTHING in the way of class that night, and leading up to the fight. He played right along with the bullshlt talking before the fight, and he let Broner get into his head after the fight. (Broner was definitely wrong there). And then he whined about a robbery in a fight where the right guy won. Just because everyone hates Broner, doesn't all of a sudden mean Paulie is some "class act".
