Tyson was a hell of a fighter in his prime.... there have been so many overrated fighters its hard to say. Pavlik in recent years has been proven to be overrated. In terms of all time overratedness you would have to say Rocky Marciano. His only noatble wins were against an ancient Joe Louis and Joe Walcott.... he fought in an abysmally weak heavyweight division.... Sonny Liston would have killed him, as would any of the top heavyweights from Ali's era.

 

This division is much weaker.

 

Gotta agree with THE GREAT the hw div is weaker now than when Mike was the baddest man on the planet

 

VERY SURPRISED! Would've thought Marciano's name would show up most.

My sense is: the standard of excellence now is Mayweather -- the total opposite of The Rock.
