only on eastside would you find a list of hall of famers like this as overrated boxers.. all in the first 14 posts of the first page.. damn there's a bunch of stupid posters on this site .. i dont even want to read the rest of the thread :hat
The Ring TOP10 JWWs Pryor faced after he beat the faded Cervantes in his hometown: no.4 Lennox Blackmore no.4 Dujuan Johnson no.5 Miguel Montilla no.6 Sang Hyun Kim no.8 Gary Hinton (a fight which he arguably lost) He never beat the second best fighter in the division or the third best for that matter after he became champ. He beat Arguello who was never a proven 140 pounder by cheating. He was a doped-up energizer bunny. Tszyu: no.7 Hector Lopez no.3 Jake Rodriguez no.9 Jan Piet Bergman no.8 Rafael Ruelas no.4 Miguel Angel Gonzalez no.2 Sharmba Mitchell no.3 Zab Judah no.8 Oktay Urkal no.8 Ben Tackie no.7 Jesse James Leija no.2 Sharmba Mitchell no.7 Ricky Hatton +Mayweather, Chavez, Bramble, Laporte etc. etc. He faced the best competition from the word go. Probably the only fighter to be in the Ring TOP10 in his weight class in his first year as a pro. Unheard of.
Nice Comeback to the Tszyu haters and thats all they are. In all of his Title Fights Tszyu fought Ring top ten opponents and out of 18 World Title fights 13 were fought away from home turf. If you want to talk overated resumes people should start with Aaron Pryor's. Its far more overated than Tszyu's taking in mind Tszyu fought a former World Champ in only his 4th Pro fight i mean how many boxers can lay claim to that. In fact how many can lay claim to winning a World Title at any weight in only 15 Pro Fights.
atm HAS to be WARD and DIRRELL, both top class and one day no doubt will be elite but already you have countless ward vs calzaghe ect ect threads
Tyson - good but no where near one of the best HW's ever. Hopkins - beat up on smaller men most of the time. Toney - ATG? yeah right...
