PS: Second choice would be George Foreman. Spectacularly overrated as a fighter because of a big punch and big celebrity status.
why can you not rate on talent that is what the p4p ratings is all about. If fighter X and Y weighed the exact same weight who wins? The fighters one faces only gauges their talent. So as i stated earlier who would you rank in skill and talent in p4p rankings outside of Pac and RJJ in the last twenty years? Also, I think you are reconstructing history a bit. Zab, SSM, Hatton, ODLH, Gatti were favoured by many to beat him. Hatton was p4p when they fought, SSM was P4P and so was JMM. He fought Oscar on his terms at his weight. I would have loved for him to school Cotto but Arum protected him . . . who else was there really? Zu who was whipped by hatton (get real). the exposed brick master? Clottey? Quintana? Cintron? Berto? Collazo? Who out of these guys would you favour over PBF? Who would give him a payday? The brick master did put an interesting offer on the table but he wanted the WBC belt and the linear title which meant a lot more and he was angling for a fight with oscar? who would fight oscar or the brick master? Boxing today is a business and everybody looks at risk-reward. My other favourite fighter (pac) has done it as well. when you truly scrutinize any fighter over the last 20 years the majority have done it. For example, MAB and Morales would not fight JMM for example. Oscar would not fight Winky. Calzaghe would not fight anyone with a pulse!
Some of the fighters being mentioned are not even close to over rated, let alone over rated all time.
Exactly. No top 10 ATG heavyweight list would be right without Marciano's name on there, and nobody is going to rate him over Ali. Therefore he isn't over rated
I dont know about that He became the oldest heavyweight Champion of all time when he knocked out Michael Moorer who was 35-0 at the time ....Cant take that away from him
