I cannot agree with your pick. Marciano, like Calzaghe was an unbeatable force of nature. The critics can say what they want against these guys but the fact is that after almost 50 fights each nobody ever had their hand raised in victory against them!
calzaghe's speed, accuracy and stamina were just too much for his opponents to handle, you dont need to be a big hitter to be a great boxer, even tho 32 tko's is still pretty impressive out of 46 fights. if anything he doesn't get enough praise for his talent..:bbb
Agreed. Who the **** has he beaten other than weight-drained Adamek and a load of old ****s? Also for the Hopkins-Hagler being 50/50, based on styles I don't think that's crazy. All of Hagler's wins were against smaller fighters. So the **** what? Hagler gets endless praise and Hopkins gets slated. I'm a huge fan of Hagler but this is a major case of nostalgia you guys are having.
No.Marvin beat Eugene"Cyclone" Hart,Bobby "Boogaloo" Watts,"Sugar" Ray Seales,Willie"the Worm"Monroe and "Bad"Bennie Briscoe long before he won the title. All of those were tough, highly regarded fighters for whatever reason or another while they were busy beating the **** out of each other in Philly. At middleweight,Bernard's list of opponents isn't even close.
Imo it's Rocky cause most of his fights, he fight fighters that were way past their primes. Today heavyweights i think either Klits would have tko Rocky. Tyson of the 80's would destroyed a prime Rocky.
