When I say over-hyped I am not saying the fighter is not any good but the hype surrounding them is much greater than they actually are. Adamek has to do more before he's as good as the hype.

If someone accomplish something, then its overhyped for you.....Can't you just give some credit man rather than being negative??? Just suggesting though...

So basically any fighter with some momentum and a fan base is over rated?

there is a scarcity of young elite fighters at present. just look at the current p4p top 10. almost all of them are 30 and above there. juan diaz is young but definitely not Elite. he is B+ at best, not even A-level. diaz already lost to campbell and went life and death w/ a very limited katsidis before fighting jmm. pac won the 2008 FOTY award due to his wins vs. jmm, diaz and dlh. he won 3 fights (2 championship belts) in 3 diff. weight classes. as a result, he joined the great henry armstrong as the only fighters to do this feat in a single year. that's why the boxing media and press describe pac's 2008 as both historic and legendary. pac was also FOTY back in 2006.

    1) Ricky's resume is much better than most of the other top10 p4p, the only reason he is below top5 is because he is from Europe.

    2) PAC deserves his hype, exciting and successful

    3) agree with Carl.

    4) Abraham, get in the ring with him and prove you are bum.

    5) Khan ... highly over hyped, hope Barrera school him

    6) Haye is over hyped at HW, not at CW

    7) who and why?

    8) see above

    9) DAwson is talented but he is a chicken and ducker, sooner than later he will meet his foe

    10) Your Adamek statements are false in every department

Dawson is a chicken and a ducker because he has a Glass Jaw and he knows it. He will only fight senior citizens now except Glenn Johnson.

He wouldn't be the underdog against anyone in boxing 154 and down, he's that good.:deal Learn the sport before making such a dumbass statement.

Man, get off PBF's nuts. Williams would be a favorite for sure, and there are lots of guys at 154 who would also. Slight favorites, but they would have the edge.

The poster I quoted said a considerable underdog against. And stand by my statement no one 154 and down especially at 147 would be favored over him. That's a testament to his greatness. Williams wouldn't be the favorite all you would have to do is look at the Quintana fight in which he was bothered by movement angles and counter-punching PBF is the best in the game in those areas.:deal BTW name the guys at 154 who would be favored over him I would love to hear them.

What did Quintana do with the angles in the second fight? Yea Williams lost but his busy work rate and size would give PBF lots of problems at WW and worst and 154. And judging from your post, it's useless to give anyone a chance against the great PBF, so I'm not going to bother.

The Forrest that beat Mosely 2x would give PBF some trouble. Don't know if he would win but he would certainly give him problems. This version of Forrest isnt beating PBF.. No way
