You can make a top 10 out of Joe Louis performances alone.

I'm done with this conversation clearly you don't want to address any of the points I make, especially the part where two judges had it a close fight. And again theres 1000s of fights in history, more one sided than Eubank vs Watson 2, which most people consider a brutal war that was competitive, which clearly don't fit criteria of this thread being "totally one sided", but yeah you believe what you want I'm not gonna keep gonna back and forth have a good day.

Sugar Ray Robinson vs Jake LaMotta for the world title was called the St. Valentine's day massacre and for good reason.
LaMotta was weakened by making the weight so had to cover his body up.
That meant Robinson could concentrate on Jake's bull like head, which he did.
Robinson was as beautiful a left hooker as there's ever been and he really let them go, 1-2-3 stomach, ribs, chin.
But he had to take a breather at times as LaMotta ate those hooks.
"Ya didn't put me down Ray" and not for want of trying

The Puerto Rican judges often judged in favour of Chris Eubank. They were watching another fight.

Eubank was just trying to survive in there, and that meant throwing back. It may of looked like he was being competitive but he really wasn’t. This was Chris Eubank so he wasn’t just rolling over or being bowled out, so it’s a little different.

Let's agree to disagree I haven't watched the fight in years, and in all honesty I have no intentions of watching it again. Even though it's a great fight the tragedy surrounding it means I don't wish to revisit it. From my memory I seem to remember Eubank holding his own despite losing the fight, either way let's just agree despite the tragedy it's a memorable fight with one of the best 11th rounds of all time. And both men were never the same for obvious reasons.

Yeah, I think it’s on peoples minds but they steer clear due to the emotional disturbance.

But you’re right, it was a savage and protracted beating - and a definite candidate for the most one sided - Ali wasn’t in it or even really there for the fight - which almost disqualifies from even being considered a fight to be placed under any sub category.

Ali, exhausted before the first round was even out - as Ali later admitted to.

Was it David Diaz that Manny Pacquiao methodically violated to win the lw belt?

I know it was Diaz somebody, and I just remember Pac dropping him face first and then he rolled over on his back and got counted on.

It wasnt like a devastating punch, it was more like the final straw that just took his soul for good.

I was never a huge Pac fan, but hats off to that one sided beat down of a quality opponent

Interesting choice, and dominating for sure, but that fight actually made me question Vitalis supposed mythical power. He hit Briggs at will but could never get him out of there, despite Briggs having an average chin at best, and already being an older fighter past his best days

It was a one of a kind night and fight. Very sad at the time but Watson has triumphed since

Rocky Marciano, head, elbows and low blows but Don Cockell never complained.
It was a beat down without the aforementioned skullduggery.
Cockell was never the same after that fight but wouldn't have a bad word said about the Rock

To me to be a savage beatdown one guy has to take a beating for the duration or at least into the late rounds

The first one that comes to mind is Holmes v. Cobb

Others that come to mind that resulted in deaths were Gabe Ruelas v. Jimmy Garcia and Jesus Chavez v. Levander Johnson.

Yes it was a savage beatdown

Although the first fight was rather one sided it was quite a bit more competitive than the second fight
