I think it's the tatt that worries you more than anything Bill. Rememebr, when Tyson was at his fearsome best that tatt was a long way off. I must admit tho, it's a mean piece of ink.

I've always thought that the tatt made him look like an ******* more than anything else. Not so intimidating as it is ridiculous.

 

I find it pretty mean to be honest. A lot of big mean mofo Kiwi's seem to have lots of similar tatts.

 

One of the meanest looking was Rocky at HW. If a guy like Tyson seen him keep coming he'd run to momma and say I'm scared, protect me lol

Well what seems to be forgoting in regards to Marciano, was that he was MEAN once that bell rang. Sure he lack the stare department, but when the bout was over Marciano took there heart out of fighting. He broke there wills.

Dempsey, Louis, Liston, yes they had that stone cold stare, and yes like the Rock they could hit. But I dont think they broke down a man like the Rock did. Charles had Marciano's nose split in 2, and the Rock did not stop. If Louis got hit plenty, he would go down as Schemling show, same goes with Tyson.
It seems with Marciano you have to kill him, in regards to knocking him out.

I agreeing with Janitor on this one, I think Dempsey and Louis were much scarier than Liston or Tyson. What do you find scarier, a bully or a serial killer?
