Foreman was just flat out intimidating. But like others have said, Louis was scary. The emotionless faces would scare the **** out of me before we fought. Cold unblinking eyes looking at me, and like Max Baer said "Fear is standing across the ring from Joe Louis, knowing he wants to go home early".

You'd think it would be the obvious, Liston, young Foreman or Tyson, but Dempsey looks just so damn sinister, like he drifts across the country back in those times in some boxcar, hopping off in little midwestern towns and kills a few people and then moves on again in the boxcar to the next town. The Terror of the Hobo Jungle. I still wish someone could find and post that closeup shot of Dempsey right before the Carpentier bout that ESPNC sometimes shows at the beginning of one of their Classic Boxing programs. Dempsey looks evil to me.
