    Valuev.

A 7 foot, ogre-ish, extremely hairy guy who shaves with an axe. If he was half as dangerous as he looks, he'd demolish any heavyweight who ever lived. I don't think it's even close.

Sonny Liston was scary to me as a kid, but I think Dempsey,Marciano,Lewis,Louis,Tyson,Foreman,Baer,Schmeling and Frazier and knowing what they can do to a man are pretty frightful figures to be in the same ring with but on face value and knowing nothing about the sport Primo Carnera is pretty scary as well as Valuev

    Agreed.

I'd almost put Tyson with these two, but Tyson's game was more of intimidation as opposed to the blunt fear that Liston and Foreman did in their stare downs.

Watching Tyson stand still as a statue while his eyes followed Peter McNeely in their staredown was awesome.

With due respect, you are all wrong ! I know a heavyweight [not to be revealed] who was so scary at birth, that the doctor slapped his mother, who later on diapered his face !!!

i give a **** if i get a shitstorm on that. vitali klitschko is by far the most intimidating heavy of all time, not only that, he also is sadistic and has big fun punching opponents till thesy colapse and wants to hold them in the fight for at least 10 rounds

In the ring, where aura accompanies mere appearance, Mike Tyson.

    Vitally Klitschko is verry intimidating.

If you dont think so then stop looking at him, and look at the guys he is facing down or interacting with. You can see the fear in their body language.

The only person who held his own with him in the body language stakes was Lennox Lewis, and that was prety even.

Manny Steward said that Vitali Klitschko was the toughest fighter, radiating an inner rage and physical confidence that he had ever seen in his career in the recent Klitschko film. He said the only other fighter he ever met like him was George Foreman. An interesting quote from that film by Wlad. He said that he had to be made into a fighter but his brother was born a fighter.
