Of the fights you mention it has to be Surace's win over Munguia. The win may not have been as surprising as Chisora over Joyce but the fact that Surace, who had just four knockouts in 27 bouts, hammered Munguia into La La Land makes it easily the most shocking result.
Surace was by far the biggest underdog, statistically, out of everyone mentioned. The nature of the win from a non-puncher makes it even more shocking.
While Munguia vs Surace was indeed the biggest upset of 2024, I think I was more shocked by how easily Murtazaliev destroyed Tszyu. Munguia had Surace down and he was on his way to winning before he got caught. Murtazaliev domianted Tszyu from round 1.
Murtaz was like +500 or so if I'm remembering correctly. Plenty of bettors were on him to get the line even that close against someone as popular as Tsyzu. I saw some rando +1100 underdog cash just a week or two ago. It happens all the time in boxing, almost every week. Some of these guys are fighting to literally put food on the table. You can't teach that in the gym.
Definitely Surace. Was watching the next morning and was stunned. The other fights were minor shocks.
Technically it was Munguia and Surace but I voted Tszyu because of how badly he lost...career changing loss possibly
Surace beating Munguia was obviously the biggest and shocking given how he was a complete unknown with very little KO%. Some other surprise upsets not mentioned: Liam Paro beating Subriel Matias José Valenzuela beating Isaac Cruz Angelo Leo beating Luis Alberto Lopez
