Gennedy was pretty good. I would favor "Gennady" to beat him 9/10 though.

I met James Toney at LAX once. The guy is 5'8 with hands like a 12-y/o girl. Him winning the heavyweight title was one of the freakiest things in sports.

That’s hilarious. I just assumed he’s taller and certainly don’t picture him with dainty hands

Are you including all past fighters of the last 20 years or just Roy Jones?

I dont really think Mayweather was a unique fighter. He was an excellent fighter, but was just a solid, fundamental fighter with super technique and good, but not freakish athleticism.

Wilder is actually a more unique fighter than FMJ despite being half the fighter pound for pound.

Pacquiao was unique because he was able to rise from Flyweight.

And also his attributes made him stand out. Its rare for a fighter to be blessed with great power, speed or workrate. But for one fighter to possess all 3 is unheard of.

The unique athletic thing about Mayweather is that I must have watched him fight 15 times and the guy was NEVER off-balance. He could be running around the ring like he was early in his career, being bulled back to the ropes like he was against Maidana and Castillo, brawling like he did against Chavez and Agustus, or coming forward like against Judah and even Connor and he ALWAYS had both feet firmly under him at all times. Even when he got stunned like Mosley and a few other guys got him, it was like ...bloop... one second later right back in his stance. Never seen anything like it. Then he would fight a hall of famer like Mosley or Paq and have him stumbling around like an amateur.
