Bud, Floyd was a genuinely great talent, off the chart ring IQ, first ballot hall of famer, spartan discipline etc...but he was also a cherry picker who had no problem ducking his biggest threats and for that he’ll always be a couple of levels below SRL, Arguello, Hagler, Hearns and to say nothing of Duran.

 

How Pacquiao looked at 36 means nothing compared to how he looked at 26. Faster reflexes is clearly Floyd. Faster feet and combos clearly Pac. Faster single shot is debatable.

Mayweather was never uniquely fast. Judah is faster, Linares is just as fast. Ledwaba was faster. Russell Jr. Is faster. Usyk for his size is just as fast. Khan was just as fast. Mike Tyson for his size was faster. Hearns and Leonard were faster. Duran just as fast. RJJ is faster.

That's not even a complete list or close to it. Mayweather is fast, but never had ATG speed. He never possessed any physical freakish tool. Never had crazy dimensions for his weight. Morales for example ead same height and reach at 2 divisions lower. He never used an unorthodox style.

Hes just a very sound, very athletic fighter.

And 3 straights isn't that rare. I saw Pac hit Julio with 3 straights in a row and then he went down after the 3rd one. It happens in boxing.

For the last time amir khan isnt faster than pbf. You're the same guy who said for years that pac was faster than pbf yet when they fought he was clearly a step slower of both hand and foot. Prime for prime pbf was always faster. Pac looked fast because he was usually always fighting guys who were slow and there to be hit.
