After considering what you've written I'd agree with it, Hagler seemed to be totally dependent on his corner, after Duran won rounds 11,12,and 13 his corner finally told Hagler to go after him! Did Hagler need to be told to go after an already gassed lightweight? Leonard ? you are right, the way Hagler acted you'd have thought LaMotta was in the ring. And for the life of me why they didn't tell Hagler to splatter Leonard

Wlad wasnt against a novice in McGregor, stupid comparision. McGregor couldnt even throw a proper punch.

Wlad was 39 years old against a world class fighter who had every physical advantage. You will be hard pressed to find real examples of a fighter in his position winning. Wlad tried to pressure but Fury was too fast and in constant motion.

If Mayweather fought Spence Jr now, he would lose. Thats why he fought a wrestler instead. And if you threw Stipe in with Wlad, he would get walked down too.

I think he had the IQ but just let his emotions get the better of him.

Floyd Patterson trained Razor for a while ,he said he had a fine jab and right hand but just wouldn't utilise them,he gave up on him in the end.

He boxed when he should have slugged and slugged when he should have boxed. Also didn't he mistime count?

Quarry had ability, but not the ring IQ, which should not be confused with heart as he had plenty of that.

Canelo should’ve fought more physically against Mayweather but he doesn’t strike me as a low iq fighter overall. Cotto’s seems average/ordinary to me.

Yeah, right up there with Ali not being able to outthink Berbick.

I think a better example would be him trying outbomb Sanders. I try not to judge the majority great fighters on their performances at 40.
