I think any scribe from any era would argue, and place salvador sanchez
    in that category.

Canto isn't quite on marquez' level, but yes on lopez. Still the thread was
"the most talented" mexican ever. C'mon

Sal sanchez was in a class all by himself. Had his life not been cut short
he would've been mentioned above that of Chavez sr in mexico and in the same sentence as a henry armstrong. He is one of the best feathers of all
time and his career hadn't even peaked before he was killed.

Marquez is definitely A class, no one can argue that but Sanchez definitely rates higher.

You'd already mentioned Sanchez and yes he was on track to be one of the greatest of all time. Achieved so much at a young age.

Canto isn't on Marquez level? have you ever seen him fight? Canto was a master and is IMO in the top 5 Mexican greats of all time. Levels ahead of Marquez.

What?? Back at you. Which miguel canto are you talking about? The
one i know of got stopped multiple times in a very short career against
guys who weren't even world class. Like i said, NOT on marquez' level!

Yes, one of the most padded records of all time. A true great, but
if you're comparing him to salvador sanchez, you know dick about this sport and should log off from ESB immediatley and never return.
