I'm thinking Holyfield will come up against Dempsey, Marciano, Patterson, Charles, Moore and others as they all make this weight at times. Competition will be fierce.

I'm sorry but I don't buy into that. I'm not willing to declare a performance as an unbeatable one when it lasted a couple of minutes. Same with Tyson-Spinks.

Louis did more damage to max schmeling with his bare fists than alot of men could do with a baseball bat.

O rly? Well first of all, no one is unbeatable. Second, which numerous fighters (HW's to be exact) are better than a 1987 Mike Tyson? I'd like to see your list, if only for a good laugh.

i didn't say heavyweight fighters, it's the most unbeatable fighters ever, so guys like duran, srr etc etc would come out ahead of tyson.
In regards to tyson i think lewis, liston, ali and foreman could all beat him.

I agree, I think the ability to put on a sustained master-class in the true test, because the greater your opponent, the less likely they are going to cave in after a few good shots...

Just started reading this thread, but this was going to be my post if no one else beat me too it..you did, so obviously I agree with this selection.

The Duran who beat SRL would also be one of my choices, as would Roy Jones on a couple of his bouts. Foreman who fought Frazier would have given most anyone a tough night, as would the Lennox who fought Ruddock, Golata or Rahman II and of course prime Tyson and Ali are both top notch picks too. hmm, now that I think about it the Hager that beat Hearns would also be a handful.
