I'd say SRR from the footage I've seen. He could do everything.

    Didnt see the previous post.

To elaborate... you cant use Leonard slugging it out with Duran as an example of his versatility. He was beaten and beaten well. Yeah the scores were close but this wasnt a controversial decision. Leonard was not as good as slugging as he was at getting on his bike. Therefore - not the most versatile in history.

I would say Sugar Ray Leonard has got to be a strong candidate for the no1 spot, even if you just watch all his big fights vs the other greats, Duran 1, 2 & 3, Benitez, Hearns 1 & 2 & Hagler.

He is a completely different fighter in all 7 matches, amazing vs that level of comp.

The only thing that stops Leonard from being a consensus top 5 ATG was those dam retirements, he had everything needed as a fighter as far as skills & mentality.

Duran is worth a mention. I wouldnt make him the most versatile. As I wouldnt make Leonard the most versatile. But they are both worth a mention...

Yep, that sounds like the rooster alright. That guy has some serious ****ed up issues when it comes to Leonard.

Barrera is one of the most adaptable of HIS time but this is ALL TIME.

Leonard & co are a notch above MAB to be fair.

    Please.

Duran was a master technician as well as being one of the most ferocious pressure fighters in history. The man could do it all. Hell, just watch him against the likes of Hagler to see his skills on show.

I mentioned Robinson as my other pick, and Moore is also a good pick, but I hardly think Saddler was on the same level of versatility. What led you to that conclusion? And who exactly is "etc"? Please, feel free to list who you're referring to... :patsch

Neither of those are very good choices, especially Toney.
