Are you implying you don’t give opinions on people you haven’t met personally?

Trying to look like he thought he actually won, when they announced the decision after Carl Williams beat him.

To people in general, including casuals, probably getting knocked out by Mike Tyson.

I certainly do. I just don't repeat them every opportunity I get. As I said befor met the man numerous times and was one of the nicest and humblest man I've ever met. Family members who were with me at various times said the same thing. Plenty boxers I don't like and I'm not shy about saying it. I just don't shove it down people's throats every single chance I get as you do about Holmes. If I didn't know better I'd think he broke in and robbed your house the way you go on and on and on WTF already. We get it. We all get it

I won't forget the ridiculous punch by Shavers on Holmes.

Easily the hardest punch I've ever seen someone get up from.

When he said “The judges can kiss me where the sun doesn’t shine, which is my big, black behind”.

He’s a public figure. He’s responsible for the image he portrays. Who is to blame here? The man who projects the image, or the one who…notices it?

Thing is, he was only salty/bitter to the press. Fans always said he was cool as hell when they met him.

people are… complex. A man’s entire personality can’t be summed up by a couple of angry things he said publicly after he felt like he got screwed.

Did he tell any lies though?

If anything Larry was probably too honest. Coming behind Ali was a tough position to be in. So if he was bitter it was probably justified.

Looking at his actions not trying hurt Ali anymore than necessary and later Marvis Frazier. That will be how I remember him. He's a good man. Great fighter.

I agree it's obsessive tiresome and derails every thread about Holmes. I'm not fond of Fury but I'm not going in every thread in the general forum and announcing it in every post it's borderline trolling.

I don't understand hating a boxer that much who don't even know you exist nor do you even know the person personally bizarre behavior.

Certainly yes. He talks total, irretrievable nonsense about other fighters he perceives are more respected or even simply liked than him. Ranking himself no. 1 all-time unironically, & dismissing Foreman winning the championship at 45 while talking up his win over Mercer, bragging he’s the only man to ever stop Ali…I think you’re weird if you aren’t calling this moron out.
