A blown up LMW is now the Lineal MW champ and the other belt holder Strum is content on padding his record in Germany with stiffs. I dont even know the other belt holders and to make it worst there does not seem to be any great talents coming through just a couple of so so prospects. am I wrong? Is there anyone to get excited about. Funny how the SMW division was historically weak but is now packing in talent.
That would be an understatement. 160 is prob the most young talent packed division in boxing. Golovkin, Korobov, N'jikam, Pirog, Jacobs, Lee, Guerrero, Macklin 1 year and 160 will be the most exciting division
:deal You can add knockout kid Lemieux to that list and I'm sure Williams will make the inevitable move up there also. Future is bright, it does suck right now though.
This content is protected You're going to ruin his notion that no skilled fighters exist outside of the usa.
What is with you hyping all these trash divisions as the one of the best divisions in the sport. You gave the same spew for cruiserweight. In your opinion what are the 3 worse divisions right now?
Where the **** did he say its the best division you moron. He said it is jam packed with great prospects and will be one of the most exciting divisions in a year or so. I agree with him, Golovkin will be a top 5 p4p champ before too long. :yep
Im wasnt talking to you, you pig-****ing ***git. Im not talking about potential, Im talking about the current state it is in. Anyone can fluff a weight division and hype it up as the next best thing 5 years or so.
atsch He didn't say it was the best division. That is my point. Nobody said it was you just wanted to talk **** as you normally do. Idiot.
There I changed it so you can stop bleeding your panties again. Im just curious as to why he is hyping certain divisions are stacked when they clearly arent, perhaps showing an eastern europe biased? Was never talking **** but since you called me out you can **** off and die. :thumbsup
This man speaks truth. Right because N'jikam, Jacobs, Lemieux, Macklin, Lee, Guerrero are all Eastern European....... Same with Henry, Lara, Kirkland?? As to why i'm "hyping it" Because it bothers me when ppl like yourself or TS say that a division has no young talent (and state it as definitive truth) when it's absolutly riddled with it, then deny this reality like yourself just because you don't know who they are. So 160 isn't stacked with young talent like i claim?
Like I said its easy to fluff a division to be the next best thing given a certain timeframe. You make the case Henry,Lara and Kirkland will possibly move up to the division, I can make the case that guys like Jacobs,N'Jikam and Pirog to move up to 168 as well. And IMO i wouldnt bank anything at all on Macklin nor Lee to be anything worthwhile in this sport.
The division is shaping up, it's just a matter of time before it reaches mainstream level. New champ, new crop of contenders, ****, even new belts lol. The problem will be HBO's and Showtime's since all the new talent except Jacobs come from different parts of the world, Golovkin, Pirog, Korobov, N'Dam N'Jikam, Lemieux, Macklin and Lee come from 6 different countries. A Super Six could help a lot, however despite it'd be a lot cheaper than the current, Showtime might not find it a very good idea to put on 4 foreigners for his main market. But IMO with compromise, putting Jacobs, Guerrero and Macklin/Lee as 3 English speaking fighters plus Lemieux, N'Dam N'Jikam, and Golovkin, it could be a very attractive show. These are 6 very different fighters and characters, but all have very good skills and an exciting style. So Ken, if you read this, I give you this idea as a gift. But some day, and that day may never come I'll ask you a favor...
