Imagine that pacman, who refused a fight vs mayweather because he was scared of the needles, dies because of an heroine overdose with a needle in his arm. Susupicious isnt it?

Well, liston was actually scared of the needles, not like pacman.

Ali running away from liston because he pulled out a gun is PURE GOLD. This sport is worth the pain only for this moment alone.

See exactly when was he in his prime because he was fresh off 2 1st rd KOs of Patterson and on a KO streak.. Plus history has shown again that at HW Ali was the best by far.. He was 5 to 7 years older than listed though but I feel Ali was always going to be his stylistic nightmare

Who would you favor over him?? He has the by far best resume for a HW and his skills was at least top 3 all time

Frazier, Lewis,Wlad,Holyfield, Vitali, Holmes maybe, Norton beats him more often than not imo too. He has a good resume definitely, I have him maybe 7/8 h2h ever, but his resume is the best

I can respect that list and I can definitively see those guys beating him as Norton(robbed each time) and Frazier already beat him.. But his resume is a mile ahead of the next guy which makes him the best HW ever..

I've always felt Liston didn't fear Ali but he did fear the Nation of Islam. The sense I get is the NOI got to Liston in no uncertain terms.

I always thought Foreman would have beaten Ali in a rematch. Zaire was a nightmare setup for George. The whole nation was against him.

I think sonny was just older than he was listed as and his heart gave up due to his heavy body weight plus bad lifestyle and there was no one to get him to the hospital.
