    This is for Seamus.And Mendacity.
    And, any other doubters.

    Jack Johnson is often castigated for less than stellar peformances against indifferent opponents, through my contacts with noted boxing historians and archivists ,I have been allowed unparalleled access to hitherto top secret files. I can now reveal that the man boxing fans thought was Jack Johnson in those dissapointing outings, was in fact his body double.
    Jack, owing to his riotous lifestyle was seldom in condition to fight and, only got in shape for the top men.
    His fights with Choynski , Hart ,and O Brien, were not actually "his fights " , they were the fights of the man on the left of the picture below.

    The photo is London or Sydney? The architecture of roof design looks New Hampshire? Puzzled. The fatting bushy nosed man is Sam Fitz? He too could pass for H.Ds stunt double.
