Yes. The pattern is none of the instances you mentioned resulted in Wilder going down from a blow to the chin. (LOL) But Wilder did knock those four guys down a combined 14 TIMES!!!! It's heavyweight boxing. Guys get rocked. If Wilder goes down from a punch to the chin against Fury in their third fight, it'll be the first time Fury has dropped Wilder with a punch to the chin. When a fighter has fought 44 times, and you're left counting possible 'wobbles' in a fight, his chin is fine. And Wilder's chin is fine. It's not made of cast iron. But it's fine.
Wilder's chin is what i'd call just above average for a heavyweight it's the recovery of his legs that takes the time & is a problem for him. Normally he gets away with it because when an opponent hurts him he is able to stand still and recompose himself. He hides when he is hurt pretty well Fury rocked him before he dropped him in that fight but with Fury chasing him all night his legs would never recover. He isn't conditioned to going backwards. Wilder has still never been knocked cold. He's never really took something flush from a monster puncher though. I've seen Fury take hayemakers even after getting dropped and fight on through which is Holmes, Ali level of toughness I don't think Wilder or AJ can handle bombs after getting dropped. That's Parker, Ruiz & Fury territory.
Yet more crap. AJ has mandatories backing up and Tyson Fury to focus on. Ruiz has still got a few million dollars to burn through before considering taking his boxing career seriously again.
Umm ok.. massively overrated Wilder's level of skill there. Will admit his chin isn't glass, but great footwork on the back foot. His lack of ability in that area is exactly where he got shown up by fury.. Got put on the back foot and without space, need I say more on that His movement isn't all that in general and timings ok against a tomato can but to say he's top contender take that big right away and he looks very average , think it will be a long road back for him without a belt to hide behind.
In boxing ability no, but couldn't see Whyte avoiding that big right for 12 so Wilder might well win that one
I feel like this whole Parker has a grinite chin thing is a bit over the top. The jury is still out on Parkers chin for me. Apart from Dillian, no one else has really landed flush on him yet. Not sure he could take Wilders bomb or Joshuas.
Just watched wilder fury 2 again.. Going to give wilder a bit of credit there, took a battering and still didn't drop was totally outclassed technically. Really his corner should of stopped it well before it was definitely not glass. AG hits harder tho in my opinion. Respect to fury tho totally took it to him
The laugh is on Chinny Dillian. I am laughing at him now for the manner in which he got knocked out by a pensioner. Wilder's never been put permanently on the canvas once.
