Your right, that guy was his former sparring partner and ALMOST KHTFO on FNF...............he would have been finished right there. Thanks for reminding me. That shows how little pop Ward has because that dude had his legs GONE. Not that power is everything, skills pay the bills.:deal
No, no, that's recent. I called him up, I said, "Hag, do me a solid and grow some hair up for me because I have a Hagvatar thing going on and"-ah, who am I kidding? Hagler doesn't take my calls anymore. And then there's that restraining order...
I would really like to see that, but I'm not convinced it will happen. It's going to suck if Dirrell doesn't make it to the semi finals. Especially since Kessler probably will. Not that I dislike Kessler, but he has no chance against Ward in a rematch. Just imagine if Dirrell beats Ward by a split decision and they end up getting a rematch in the final? That would be sick. Or a rematch with Abraham? Also sick.
I loved ever minute of the Matrix giving AA a boxing lesson. Thanks for the DQ, Arthur! And what the hell ever happened to Kessler's skills? I mean, the guy had a technically perfect 1-2. Now, his punches are haymakers, ala Jeff Lacey & garbage like that! :-(
Me too. I went into the fight rooting for Abraham and came out a fan of Dirrell. I've re-watched it since. I'm more curious now as to what would've happened in the final rounds. Abraham WAS starting to get to him, so his persistence MIGHT have paid off. Maybe, but I doubt it. I really would like to see a rematch. I agree about Kessler. He got a stone cold ass whooping against Ward. He got the win against Froch but I wasn't really impressed. It could've gone either way. No disrespect to him, but I'm not too excited to see him in the semi-finals. I don't think he can win it.
I think Froch won that fight. Home cooked decision in Denmark for Kessler that night. :-( Kessler seems to have lost that beautiful 1-2 ever before the Ward ass kicking. Can't figure it out...
I that fight was far and away too close for anyone at all to be calling a hometown decision. I scored it for Kessler but I say it could have gone any which way. Although Tilleman's 117-111...Well, okay.
he can punch. ko over codrington was good and knocked down miranda pretty hard...................but still not consistent enough. his health of course derailed his career and it didn't help that hbo just dropped him like a BAD HABIT. but. shouldn't be in the tourney. hasn't done nothing of note recently
