I think the point most try to make is how good he COULD HAVE been had he been more dedicated to the sport. I honestly think that had he been more commited, he would have won a few belts, and beat a few noteworthy names...

You are one dumb foolish mother****er. Clearly you've seen none of those fights, yet throw words like "idiot" and "moron" around. Sanders had Rahman ready to be stopped, yet was dropped by a routine punch that shouldn't have even stunned him.

At least have the common sense not to question my posts infuture.

Czyz-Good light heavyweight. Hadn't fought in 2 years when he fought Sanders. Retired after.
De Leon-Decent Cruiserweight,5 years before he fought Sanders.
Bert Cooper-Who hasnt beaten Bert Cooper?

 after being dropped twice earlier he was stopped on his feet to save him getting knocked out. That's generally the purpose of fights being stopped.

He was also knocked out by one shot by Tubbs, and dropped by a non puncher in Weathers.

That's concrete proof of his weak chin. Real info for you, not jibberish from a noob spastic like you.

It's clear there's literally nothing you could teach me about boxing.

Corrie Sanders style is just all wrong for Wladimir, A guy whos the same height, who dominates space between fighters due to his speed and the straight left a direct answer for wlads straight right/jab, just the perfect man to knock wladimir out every time out, dont sleep on sanders Vitali was on rubber legs in the corner after round 1 and actually winces very heavily during the break when the camera is on him, Sanders couldve been a great long reigning champion if he was built up and given experience the long route ala wlad with amateur, olympics and stewart etc

Corrie is actually the only person to ever do to Wlad what he did. Ross and Lamon were getting their asses kicked badly before Wlad gassed, they were completely outclassed. Corrie never let Wlad get into anything and tore him part. Who is saying Sanders was a great fighter? I haven't seen it. But, that he was a good fighter, certainly not a myth. Sorry. Talented, yes, fast-handed-you'd be blind not to see that, big and strong, obviously. Wipe your face.

Hmm. It's almost as if the thread starter wants a legendary resume to prove Sanders being just the good fighter that smarter people appreciate him to be, instead of the solid one that he certainly has. Weird.

Are you really this dense? You don't even get which points in the fight I'm referring to. He was stopped before he was ko'ed, because his soft chin gave way. Period.

There are numerous examples of Sanders' weak chin. I've pointed them out twice, you autistic twat. Go do a bit of research.

Sanders was dropped, hurt, even knocked out by punches Holyfield would've just ignored you dumb ****ing ****. There's no comparison at all between the Tubbs, Weathers & Rahman shots that Sanders took and the bombs that hurt a prime Holyfield :lol::lol:.

    This is painful :lol::rofl:patsch

Are they rewriting history or is it you recreating history from hindsight and Boxrec? Were you there following his career? Did you know the general feel of the division at the time?

Before ESB and the other online forums the boxing community existed on the Internet through the rec.sport.boxing newsgroup. Google has them indexed to about 1994. I think that you will find that your 'mythologising' of Sanders existed prior to the Klitschko fight.

I believe the general feel at the time was "who the **** is this guy" and why isnt Wlad fighting a higher class of opponent?

Followed swiftly by "how the **** did Wlad lose to this guy?"

I've given you 3 perfectly clear examples. He was knocked OUT with one shot by Nate fukkin Tubbs . Also note the complete lack of punchers he fought in his career. He was also stopped by Vitali, though you probably didn't notice.

Yes, you are. One with horrific judgement and spelling.

Agree 100% with you. Decent fighter with fast hands and average power and skills.

The media lost interest after the Tubbs fights, but there are some really great discussions on the boxing newsgroup about him. There was a lot of talk about his power and speed. If you are really interested in this and not just trying to **** on Wladimir then I recommend reading those posts because there's some enlightening stuff - it's been years since I read them, but I think one of his sparring partners joined in on one of the discussions and talked about preparation for the Rahman fight.

Sanders was a one trick pony, straight left hand thats all he got in term of his skills. hes been an ambush fighter Wlad tought he´d connect but didn´t then Sanders came back with straight left and smashed Wlad. Current Wlad doesn´t fall into those traps. Rahman and several others for example tried the same thing. Wlad would just stay outside stick to the jab and would not take any risks. after 4-5 rounds Sanders would be gassed and probably get stopped or lose a wide decision..
