If Haye was confident about his chin he would'nt have danced in the ring with Harriosn for 3 rounds and with Valuev for 12.

exactly, hence the reason you don't see Haye going gung ho like he use to, but if he has you on the hook then there is no getting off.

I don't think anyone would dispute that. Like I said, not being able to take either Klitschko's punches, doesn't mean a guy can't take a shot.

My argument isn't that Haye can take those punches. I do think that he can take their jabs, which some people disagree with. That, to me, is ludicrous. I also disagree with the idea that Haye has a china chin.

Its easy to have a 100% record when you predict every fighter who gets knocked down, will eventually get knocked out.

Including incorrect predictions, I guarantee I am more accurate about knockouts than you are.

I used to see Khan's fans trying to explain away all his knockouts and knockdown with the following excuses, "he was dehydrated", "he was just a boy at the time, not a man", "that shot would've ko'd anyone", "it was a slip, not a knockdown", "he was weakened by making weight", etc

The truth is, when a fighter has been knocked down or out numerous times in the amateurs and the pros, like Khan and Haye have, it is safe to assume they cannot take a decent shot. Especially when they have been hurt by smaller men with little power. The Khan fans have now accepted the fact that his punch resistance is awful, Haye's is not as bad but it's not good by any means.

Jack, what do you make of Wlad's chin? He's been put down more times than Haye but against natural heavyweights with decent power. Who has the better punch resistence out of him and Haye in your opinion?

Haye by a mid round knockout. It's funny because in Adamek's early career, the guy had an unbelievable chin. Really was excellent. However, unlike Haye, he never struggled to make cruiser and that's his natural weight. The jump up to heavyweight has been too much and these guys are hurting him.

I think Haye would be too much and hit too hard. I think he's get tagged a couple of times but start to bust Adamek up and eventually break him down. I like Adamek but I think he belongs at cruiserweight.

Sounds fair enough and quite plausible outcome. How high would you rank win over Adamek (in that fashion) in Haye's cv? Better than Ruiz?

The difference between Khan's chin and Haye's, is night and day. Khan has the worst chin I've seen at the elite level in a long, long time. It's up there with the worst ever, I think. Haye has never been knocked out like he was, he's ot been down off complete non-punchers like Khan, and he's gone on to take some good shots.
This is hard to answer because I don't think Haye has been hurt at heavyweight though he's not faced a big puncher and the only really hard shot, was the one off Barrett when he was already on the floor.

However, we know that Wlad has a poor chin. That's been proven many times and there hasn't been many occasions in his career where he's taken flush shots and not been affected. There was a reason why his fans mentioned the left hook off Peter in the first round for weeks after the bout, because it was the closest thing to disproving hehas a bad chin they can find.

If Haye's chin hasn't improved after the jump to heavyweight, I'd say Wlad has the better chin. If Haye's chin has improved, as I think it as, I think it's entirely possible that Haye could take the better shot.

I think it's fair to say that, if they fight, the first to land a great punch will win though.

Yeah, I'd say so. I'd have it up there with the Mormeck win, especially considering both men were The Ring's cruiserweight champions. This fight would undeniably prove who was the better cruiserweight - The best cruiserweight since Holyfield, so it would be a significant fight for both men.

If Adamek won, that would be amazing for him. He'd go down as Poland's best ever fighter, I think. The best light heavy, cruiser and even heavyweight they've ever produced. That would a fantastic achievement if he could pull off the upset.
