The myth of Floyd being iron chinned

    The guy never gets hit flush and the few times he has, he gets visibly hurt. Someone who never gets hit flush cannot be labeled iron chinned! His recovery skills seem to be very good, but it's also because no one has really had the ability to land that 2nd shot. He IS the best defensive fighter in the history of the sport, and aside from being gifted, this is his strategy for a reason.

    I'm not saying he isn't tough, because he's taken some punishment in his career like any boxer. But getting hit with shots that are not flush and not on the jaw is not going to knock anyone, out lets be real here.

    If Manny connects clean Floyd is in trouble. His jaw is NOT iron :deal

    It's not iron, but it will take more than one punch. The man isn't going to just fall over. He's been hit in his career, the issue is: Can Manny follow it up with more.

    We'll see May 2nd. I can't wait. :bbb

    not iron by any means but he's got a good chin on him. Good recovery as well.

    Pac has 1 punch hurting power, maybe not KO power at this point but definitely hurting power. He showed it with Hatton, Cotto, Algeiri, Mosley. He hurt all these guys with a single punch and put them on their ass, hurt, not flash knockdowns.

    Pac hasnt been KO'd yet alone dropped legitimately since a roided up marquez. This is after he fought Clottey who just bust up a MW, Cotto, Margarito, Mosley, Hatton, JMM 3, MAB twice and Morales 3 times. What makes you think brittle fist could do it?

    Same could be said for Floyd but we know Pac has put iron chinned fighters on their ass before, same cant be said for Floyd.

    Marquez didn't come even close to dropping May, not even relatively close.

    He only hit him 69 times in the entire fight while Floyd hit him close to 300 times. :rofl

    On the other hand, he knocked Pac out with 1 punch that wouldn't have fazed Mr.Mayweather.

    And he wasn't roided up, genius. Prove it. :hi::hi:

    According to MVC! Floyd has the best chin in the sport, even though he rarely gets hit flush and when he does he's usually in trouble. Very overrated chin, not glass but certainly not granite either.

    Why, he has only ever been hurt by the most solid of punches, it's not like he goes down from a jab. Shane had to hit him with a bomb to hurt him. Most of his opponents never hurt him at all with any of their shots!
