That was a beautiful punch that would have almost certainly sparked your hero if it landed.

I often wonder if that big right MM landed at the end of the round would have dropped Floyd if not for the ropes. If it had been followed up I think PBF would have gone down.

If Floyd ran his chin into a roided up JMMs right hand pretty sure he'll be asleep too. Styles makes fights.

Compare JMM performance all you like, we oculd always bring up Hatton, ODLH, Mosley, Cotto - you know where Pac either dropped or stopped all of them, Floyd didnt even come close to that minus the assistance of a ring post

JMM at 38 employs a known steroid supplier as what, a P.E teacher? Not only that, tries to hide his identity. And then this P.E teaches on national TV states he has 20+ undetectable PEDs to brag. Then JMM comes into the fight bigger, ripper, covered in acne and knocking down Pac with the same punches he landed over their past 3 fights. The KO was justified, that was a perfect counter, but the first KD, lol, thats product of some great "strength and conditioning".

People talk about Pac's increase in power at WW but forget how he was knocking down mofos much easier at lighter weights.

Floyd has a good chin, but it is far from iron.
He has been hurt by relatively weak punchers.

Now take someone like Margarito (yes disgusting cheater) take rounds after rounds of flush shots by Mosely where Floyd was almost knocked down by a single shot.

If Floyd had ran into that punch, he would have taken it and continued beating Marquez up.

That's a fact. Floyd has never been knocked down in his career, there's no reason to believe he would get knocked down by any man in the sport of boxing.

You can keep telling yourself that he cheated, but no one has evidence.... he took the pre/post fight drug tests and they found nothing!!

You only have to see him stumble to know that he would've been kayoed had the round gone on longer.

Floyd fought Maidana 24 rounds.....if chino could knock him down he had 24 rounds to do it, it didn't happen so the answer to your question is NO

The manner Pac runs into Marquez' punches like a sucker has a lot to do with their power. Floyd would never in a million years run into a punch - even when he gets buzzed he is mostly going backwards and taking the force off. Can't even compare Marquez' effects on both. More fruitful to compare Mosley's punches on both, or Hatton's, or Cotto's (probably the best comparison, honestly, as he connected on both of them pretty cleanly) but that was all a long, long time ago.

There isn't an answer to my question, because I didn't ask a question. Nobody knows if he would have gone down or not, his stagger to the corner suggest it's more than possible.

I think those fights have taken something out of Floyd also, he is 37 years old, very wealthy; with one eye on retirement and the other on business ventures.

I'd say this is the wrong time to choose the toughest opponent of his career.

Saying Marquez was roided up is a ridiculous and totally hypocritical thing for Pac fans to say. It also flies in the face of what some of them were claiming pre the knockout when they said "steroids wouldn't be any use to a boxer anyway"

He got caught with a great punch from a very good boxer deal with it. That punch may well have knocked out Mayweather too. We'll never know.

The hero worship of some of you sad acts trying to desperately spin anything to defend your idol is crazy. The fight is happening now and one set of fans are going to look utterly ridiculous despite their claims of what would have happened in 2008 or steroid abuse.

In the sport of boxing? You're crazy jar jar. GGG could def put him down and isn't a ridiculous match up to suggest.

Look at Juan's physique before that fight - he looked like sh*t.

Not to mention that he was training under Conte!

Floyd has been hit on the chin, temple, nose, mouth, and while you guys talk about him being wobbled...he's never been put down!

Show me the evidence? And saying he looked good/had a spotty back doesn't do it. It was wrong when the Mayweather's accused Pacquiao without proof and using this as an excuse for manny losing is just as bad.

If Pac had suspicions he'd should have demanded OSDT. He didn't. His problem.
