the reason why Floyd is consider the best @147 is because of the "rational" speculation that he is that good,because of what we have seen him do with other boxers and the fact that regardless of how his opponents look now (particularly Baldomir), at the moment he had good momentome and the ring belt. Thats why everybody is putting pressure on Floyd to fight Cotto, because he needs to fight the best welterweight, regardless of how bad a "beating" he would hand Cotto.

its more a case of floyds no 1 p4p&he fights at welter,so hes no 1 at 147 by default really.mosley is the fighter who currently at 147 has acheived most at that weight.

 

Mayweather is the CHAMP, but Cotto has the better147 Resume.

I call it CO-CHAMPS at the moment and whoever remains as the next best challenger, possibly Quintana are in the PICTURE.
