:good It is simple as that Good big guy will always beat good small guy. it wont chance. altough Guy like valuev is example when he have some succees mostly because of his size.
He would be a lesser fighter.. But he would probably be faster and have better coordination.. But Valuev would be nothing at 6"3", unless he could bring some dramatic changes to his game.
Yeah, absolutely. When people list Wlad's strengths, they should mention his reach but his reach means he's awful on the inside. You can't have long arms and be effective as close range, so as long as his opponent can get inside on Wlad, he has no answer other than to grab. He physically can't throw any short punches, which is a huge flaw.
Possibly not. He probably got chosen for boxing because of his size. However, would Valuev be less restricted if he was a 6'3" heavyweight? I think it's quite obvious he would. It's impossible to say whether he would have been a better fighter or not, if he was a foot shorter. It's not certain that Valuev's size helped him though.
well at 6.3 hed be under 300 pounds hed probably be quicker lighter on his feet and less goofy, he would probably be an even better boxer but would not have the size advantage
Wlad knocked Samuel Peter out with uppercut which got Samuel out of his feet. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VeNlP6FHJAs[/ame] Your theory how to beat tyson is just a myth.
12 Oz gloves, no head gear, didn't hurt me but it was just too much mass. Chincheckers have never Boxed in their lifetimes it's obvious, so screw them.
Consider Valuev is as big as he is, he has really no punching power. A guy as big as him should be able to lay people out if he catches them, Ustinov is an example. A 6.3 Valuev would be a fringe contender at best
He only ended up boxing after failing at basketball. Does that not say it all? Boxing - the only sport where your size helps you even more than basketball!
