The myth of superheavyweight dominance

  1. Well you would expect a bigger guy to beat a smaller guy but boxing people know that size doesn't matter and only skill does matter. And Holyfield gave Bowe hell anyway and even dropped him in the other fight.

    Only skill? So stuff like speed, power, reach and chin don't matter either?

    Size does matter, it's why weight classes exist. To suggest that size ceases to matter when someone hits the magical 200lb mark is preposterous.

    200lbs vs 250lbs = 50/50 fight because both are heavyweights and size isn't an advantage

    Then why there is so much whining about Chavez rehydrating to 180lb?
