I appreciate facts and numbers as I'm sure you do but you can't disregard the fact that at the elite level, when it has mattered most, Mexico has the edge. The fact that PR has the all-time edge in W-L is impressive considering the size of the Island but in terms of quality wins, significant wins, all time status, pound for pound fighters, Mexico has the edge.

Also, Mexico has had about 120 Champions to Puerto Rico's 50.

Puerto Rico is a force, but at the elite level, and as far as achievements go, Mexico trumps over the Island.

per capita there's no doubt that Puerto Rico produces the best and most elite boxing talent in the world. not even debatable! The west side of Mexico city alone has a higher population than all of Puerto Rico yet not even the entire country combined can have a clear case for producing better talent.

Dude nobody cares of the ****ing populations this isn't ****ing Social Studies! If that were the case China and India would have the most champions. The champions per million of a countrys population is some ridiculous ****!

It's not much of a rivalry anymore. Prs best fighter has already gotten kod by a Mexican and there isn't much after cotto retires. Garcia is next to b kod when he fights rios or Alvarado.

In the past it was an even rivalry but in the present it's been dominated by the mexicans.

What? You didnt see Garcia go to war with Morales? Beating Morales is a better win than Salido knocking out Juanma.

    And we still look better

Are you trolling or what? Beating an old, old, way past prime Morales at a neutral site (if that) is more impressive than beating a prime JuanMa twice at home?

Mexicans are just mad that they have to sell their houses to paid a coyote to cross the border illegally and then get deported within a month and puerto ricans can just hope on a plane and be in the states legally is just jealousy.

Trinidad is better than any boxer to come out of mexico.
