Rican's still love to celebrate that one. :rofl:rofl:lol:

i would NEVER be proud of such a "win" like that. But you know Ricans, any win over a Mexican, no matter the quality of the opponent, is a major event for them.:lol::rofl:rofl:patsch

Anyone who doesn't give credit to these accomplishments from a small island to the world of boxing... Doesn't know boxing at all, and not worth threading about boxing.

I have ALWAYS given credit to Puerto Rico as a boxing nation....They are the 3rd best boxing force in the world behind USA, and Mexico. ;)

Only when Mexican and Mexican - American win it counts.. kind of weak at the highest level of boxing there has been countless Mexicans caught with PED's , yet that is another story...

Sixto Escobar defeats Rodolfo “Baby” Casanovas by KO 9: Montreal Athletic Commission World Bantamweight title 1930.
Carlos Ortiz defeats Raymundo “Battling” Torres by KO 10: World Lightweight title 1960.
Wilfredo Gomez defeats Carlos Zarate TKO 5: WBC Super Bantamweight title 1978.
Wilfredo “El Radar" Benitez defeats Carlos Palomino by SD 15: WBC Welterweight title 1979.
Esteban De Jesus defeats Vicente Mijares Saldivar by TKO 11: WBC Lightweight title 1977.
Felix “Tito” Trinidad defeats Fernando Vargas by TKO 12: WBA World Light Middleweight title 2000.
Miguel Angel Cotto defeats Antonio Margarito TKO 10: WBA Jr. Middleweight 2011.

    p4p PR > MX , but , h2h lets c :
    Sanchez UD15 LaPorte , Sanchez TKO8 Gomez , Chavez UD12 Camacho , Chavez UD12 LaPorte , Chavez TKO11 Rosario , Ramirez TKO4 Rosario ,

    on d other hand :
    Camacho UD12 Ramirez , Rosario UD12 Ramirez , Gomez TKO14 Pintor .

    so h2h it's clearly MX > PR .

Gomez hit Zarate while down so i don't count it . Same with discounting both Chito's and Margachito's wins as cheats because they were serial criminal cheaters .

Ahem...Luis Resto...which what he did is much much worse than being caught with any PED...even worse that the stuff Margo is being accused of.

Mexico is the 11th biggest in population, and the United States number 3 in population... Puerto Rico a small island 126th in the world. Not to say the small island produces not just boxers , but baseball players, basketball players and all other sort of athletes.

Mexico and Mexican -American produce world champions due to the lack of U.S.A boxers, the WBC corruption, and an immense population that use boxing to escape and improve their social economic environment.

The facts show that a small island has had a world champion in every division, and has accomplished a great deal in the world of boxing....

Luis Resto was in the 1980's over 30 years ago, and he served his time and repented for what he did. There weren't Puerto Rican fans cheering for him like Mexicans did for Margarito that even the Mexican 1st Lady called him to cheer for him, and somehow from what I saw , if he would have beaten Cotto , being found with Plaster of Paris before the Mosley fight would have been forgotten... If you want to talk of Resto then go further back than 30 years go to Dempsey vs. Willard.

Lets look at the facts while Kids in mexico are worried about work and helping support their family as well. Kids and men in puerto rico are doing nothing but waiting on their payckecks, because they make the same amount being on goverment relief as if they did if they worked.

So whille the young 13 mexican is preocupied with helping out with the family as well and concentrates at work. The puerto rican kid develops bad very very bad habits of laziness and becomes accustomed to having things easty, hence why whenever they are evenly matched up they lose mentaly (facts look the history and observe puerto ricans in everyday life)

Fact although falst proganda has circulated since the 1850's against mexico in an attempt mentally instill a image of inferiority. HOwever that's just here in the U.S.A. People all over the world love mexico and mexican culture and know it very very well. this anti Mexican stentiment is only that of the U.s.A.

So if i was a school dropout as much puerto ricans are even though they get free education, which mexico does not. If i did not have to worry about starving which many mexicans do every day, and wanted to become an athelete or actor, **** their would be no ****ing excuse not to do so.

However that is the great Puerto Rican Curse. Because they cannot be self sufficient as a region, country or state, they have ingraned that mentality and way of life into every Puerto Rican citizen as well. I said most puerto ricans, i'm sure they are some out there that are the exception. Which is why Puerto Rico wants to maintain its territory status to continue getting charity from the good ole U.S.A

You sound like a bitter ass mother****er...I probably would too if I was a Rican and my top fighters kneeled to an Aztec Warrior.

    Calderon Kneeled to Segura
    Cotto Kneeled to Margarito
    Cintron Kneeled to Alvarez
    J. Cotto got his **** pushed in by Diaz
WV2 got his **** pushed in by Arce
    Juanma got KTFO by Salido

You guys ain't got no one... Your glory days are over...Maybe you can get another paper champ and feed him a bunch of Mexican cab drivers to fluff up his record and come back in 5 years and rave about how PR has won more title fights aganist Mexicans. :yep :deal

Don't forget the Cheato Trinidad Wraps that mysteriously made him lose his power once exposed... Same with Juanma's crazy power, gone once the Cheato Wraps were discovered. :deal
