    Santurce!!! Mexicans just been having a good run in over 3 decades of getting beat in world title bouts for over 30 years, not to say at other levels of boxing...

    It took the ever so powerful Tito 9 rounds to KO Mayorga, (Tito got KD himself and tagged a bit) who in a span of 9 months was coming from Welterweight to Middleweight to fight the supposed hardest hitting fighter of the 90's...

    ODLH took him out in only 6.

    His power wasn't the same.

    Vargas was fat, and shot to ****.

    Sad, if Sanchez is the only thing.. that is the typical Sanchez vs. Gomez and Chavez vs. Camacho... Sanchez was the only Mexican that beat Gomez , and I understand that makes you all feel happy, but doesn't change all the ass whippings Gomez gave to every Mexican the WBC can could come up with to face Gomez...

    If Arguello would have face Sanchez you all be threading a different story...

    The fight was epic and STYLES make fights not cultures. It is WHAT IT IS. Gomez went up in weight for Sanchez and got hurt early in the fight which impacted his entire game throughout. Sanchez was a stylistic problem for Gomez who was one of the best fighters EVER. Congrats and props to Sanchez but don't ignore what the TINY island of PR has done to MEX. Its def the best rivalry in boxing. Keeps the blood of this sport moving, keeps the sport alive.
