The argument that Puerto Rico has less people doesnt mean ****, boxing is puerto ricos #1 sport. Thats like saying Mexico just kicked China's ass in soccer and china has 10 billion more people than Mexico...Just plain stupid. Take your bitter ass keyboard warrior mentality somewhere else you ***ot.

Soccer? really? lol, ur using a team sport to justify an argument about boxing? GTFO

honestly all this race stuff is plain stupid, both countries are top countries in boxing and both countries have produced great fighters Im Puerto Rican but there are plenty Mexicans that I like and cheer on. It aint about country its about skill

Dude, Logic is no something you seem to have also why the need to call someone a "***ot" behind a keyboard .... Population does matter now , if someone chose not to accept it that is their prerogative. The number thing all boxing experts say is " Amazing how a small island has produced so many champions." and funny how Mexicans and the majority of Mex-Americans can't accept the fact that their main rival is a small island...

Nah, Beating any Mexican is not an event. Like Mexicans and Mex-Americans get one win and lose 20 , and somehow it's the biggest event. A Puerto Rican boxers loses one fight and somehow the Mexican nationalistic zealots jump out the woodwork.

It was a big deal for Mexicans to finally get a victory over Calderon at 38 years old , or to get one win over Gomez , or Juan Ma Lopez after he ko'd 4 Mexicans.

I think it's the other way around. People usually talk out of their conditions....

The U.S.A has always run boxing and has had the best. Due to the fact that the U.S.A is a melting pot of various ethic and cultural groups that have due to their social economics in their eras had great boxers. There is no dispute in that...

But since the 90's U.S.A boxing has taken a decline and now MMA gyms are more frequent to come by than Boxing gyms in the U.S.A.
