lets get this straight pac has not fought the very best in each weight class he has been in. of the 7 weight classes he competed in he fought the best at 126 (barerra, marquez) and 130 (marquez)

erik morales was not the best 130lber in the world when he beat pac and he was n't the best 130lber when he lost to pac at 130.

135 david diaz is not the best

140 ricky hatton is not the best

147 cotto and de la hoya are not the best

    he had :

135 nate campbell (3 world titles coming off vioctory over consensus best at 135 juan diaz)

    140 tim bradley nuff said

147 shane mosely, floyd mayweather jr

time for pac to really fight the best and that is floyd mayweather jr.:deal

135-Diaz sucked. Should have fought campbell, juan diaz at worst

140-Ricky Hatton was the best. There is no argument otherwise

147-Cotto was not the best he was the second best. Could have fought mosley. But cotto is still ****ing amazing

    he will fight mayweather

    what's the point of this?

ricky was the best at 140 based on what beating:

    1. carlos maussa
    2. juan urango
    3. jose luis castillo
    4. juan lazcano
    5. paulie malinaggi

I don't think so especially when you have fighters of a much higher caliber at that weight who he could of fought at the time.

    1. tim bradley
    2. kendall holt
    3. devon alexander
    4. ricardo torres
    5. junior witter

hatton hadn't had a meanignful fight at 140 in 4 years when he fought pac. he sat on his magazine title looking for a big payday rather then fighting the best at 140..so no hatton was not the best at 140 when pac fought him.

Hatton beat tsyzu, Mallignagi, Castillo, PHilips, Tackie, Urango, Maussa at JWW, name me any other JWW with a more impressive resume? And oh, he was undefeated at the weight.

Cotto is one of the best, Mosley is arguably the best but even then, Cotto beat him. Floyd hasnt beaten anyone of note at WW...Judah? Just about everyone has beat him at WW..

Shockingly it is possible for both Floyd and Pac to have not fought the best in their runs up to Welterweight.

So who of the above has a more impressive resume at 140 than Hatton?

all are better then david diaz:deal and would have been a tougher fight for pac then a weight drained de la hoya.

floyd was outweighed by 15lbs in the baldo fight how many pounds was pac outweighed in the hoya and cotto fights.

hatton was lineal champ. beat Kosta Tsyzu (which you carefully omitted), then unified against maussa and yeah, beat top contenders. bradley beat...witter? I honestly feel your argument at 140 holds no water.

I'm not bring mayweather into this because i like floyd a lot and his resume does not hold up by comparison. Your argument against pac is kinda weak to be honest...

you call this an impressive resume:deal:admin:dead

    tim bradley has defeated:

    1. junior witter
    2. kendall holt
    3. nate campbell

all of these fighters are better than anyone on hattons resume with the excpetion of zoo and that was once again 4 years ago.

at the start of 2009 tim bradley was the best at 140..face the facts hatton was a paper tiger a guy who was pushed along very nieley just like pac is.

Hatton was lineal at 140 so you can not say Pac should have thought someone else at 140. He never fought Shane at 147 but he fought an excellent fighter that had already beaten Mosley so the fight was completely legitimate.

The fight with Diaz at 135 was just a tune up for OSCAR!

bradley didn't beat campbell it was a no contest. maussa was the only real titlest at the time. hatton should have beaten up on witter, but oh well. and kendall holt? he hasn't done much of anything

you can't just arbitrarily decide who's the best. the best beats the best and hatton did that against tsyzu. bradley did that against no one.

come on man, you can be a floyd fan without trashing on pac. ****, it's like being a klitschko supporter, the other fans make it so ****ing hard....(that's what she said)
