    Some excellent examples...some are more obvious than others but I think anyone who has boxed a bit knows its a tough thing when you are tired and getting hit or have an injury and that factor can separate the great great fighters from the very good ....fighters like Ali,Marciano,Charles,Mathew Franklin, Lamotta, SRR were amongst that penthouse tier of Champions and Tyson and others where Champs that fell short. Guys like Andrew Golota are examples of a guy who talented and strong did not have the mental make-up or the ability to pull themselves through a rough patch and this will make a large impact on his legacy

    You guys can speculate all you want, but Douglas did quit, he admitted himself and his father left his corner because of this fight! He quit worse against Holyfield, but its still quitting.

    I think he admits to quitting in the book The Last Great Fight as well.
