The MYTH that Keith Thurman is DUCKING Spence...

Don't think people ever said he did duck , rather that he will duck.

The fight will happen. Both are under Haymon and Thurman isn't going to vacate his belts to get out of it.

 

Chicano, you are the only one I know saying Keith is ducking Spence or even bringing up the idea that he is scared of The Truth. Keith is injured and will need a fight or two to be at his best for the beast that is Errol Spence Jr. Nobody in their right mind would want Keith to come back straight away and get in with Spence. It would not be smart for him to do that.

Both men should take two fights and meet up at the end of the year. That's the ideal world which we DO NOT live in. More than likely, the fight happens next year. Until then, let's see where Thurman is. Maybe he looks like sh!t vs Vargas and the titles change hands. One never knows.

 

All it takes is one time for Thurman to step in the ring with Spence. Spence will KO or make Keith quit. Thurman will do a lot of talking. I know this, Spence aint no Danny Garcia. Been high on Spence for a while. A real old school fighter who just wants to fight the best.

Thurman is ducking Spence like he ducked Porter and like how Garcia ducked Thurman. So not at all. Fight will eventually happen.

 

I like Keith, but yea he's ducking.. If he needs a tune up, take a tune up, then fight Spence. He's been saying he's the best welterweight but isn't willing to prove it, these guys are both prime and undefeated. I don't want to see this fight in a year, or two, three, four years down the road.. Looked what we missed with Floyd /Manny, Spence is doing what he needs to, Runtime, is running. The only reason for waiting is to hope the other guy gets beaten, or gets into some wars, loses momentum or father time catches up.

 

Thurman hasnt ducked. He has earnt the right to take a tuneup after his injury layoff and spence even said that in the post fight interview. Thurman is not a ducker but i do believe spence beats him

 

I dont think his shoulder has fully recovered just yet hence why he has not signed to fight anyone. It will happen prob end of 2018

The fight was ready to be made and Thurman went and got a mail order bride and said he's getting married etc and the fight will happen in a few years.That is ducking my friends.

 

I hear you but Keith could have faced Spence when he was 15-0....he was a legitimate contender and might have been Keith’s window to actually have a shot at beating Errol. Now, Spence is at his peak and I don’t see anyone giving Thurman much of a chance at beating him. Thurman had other options but they weren’t any better than Spence...maybe Danny because he was an undefeated champion but Callazo, Guerrero, Bundu and Diaz? Anyone of those guys could have been switched out with Spence.

 

I'm ok with that, and I do think Keith wants to fight the best. But whenever he gets asked about the fight, it's always in the future. I've never heard him say near future, but I'm hoping.

 

He IS ducking Spece, he went from "I'll fight everyone that wants my spot as the #1 welter" to "I wouldn't fight Spence this year ", all during the same day and I like Keith, but is not interested in those body shots.
