There not that stupid bro, they know his only chance in this fight is if martinez has declined dramatically in recent months. they are hoping and praying for it to be so
I'd be very interested on how would manage guys like Pirog , Chavit or Golovkin against Barker or Macklin ? :think Barker is a good boxer and with a good trainer and a good promoter would be a top MW.:yep Just think about, if Barker would have been in Chavit's place with Roach as his trainer and Arum as his promoter !
we re going to see the best sergio martinez against chavez jr. sergio is as close to prime as possible and conditioning wont be a problem. either chavez will be able to get to his body and wear him down while taking sm's shots will be the answer to this fight.
They would'nt be easy fights for any of them imo and poor barker is just so ****ing injury prone now its ridiculous, you have to feel for the guy
I think they'd much prefer chavez to beat a prime martinez as that would give him much more credit. I don't think it matters either way, chavez is gonna get knocked out.
I agree! Chavez Jr. thinks he's just gonna walk through Maravilla's shots like he always do with his other opponents. The only advantage JCC Jr. has is his size and that's about it. I don't think he will adjust and make Martinez come to him either and even if he did Maravilla will find a way to win anyway like he did with Barker and Macklin. I see JCC being stopped on cuts.
I was expecting to do something like this hours before the fight, thanks anyway. I agree completely that the style of both opponents made Sergio look the way he looked. Chavez is completely tailor made for Sergio, which is why I expect a 9th-10th round stoppage. Is something like Dzinziruk, where everyone made him look like a beast and he was going to make it tough (I fell on that wagon), but the fight was a mismatch like a few people told me it would be.
P Will should have been more cautious because Maravilla was throwing bombs like he was trying to take his head off from the start.
Junior has a lot more in common with sluggers like Pavlik and Williams than he does with awkward boxers like Barker and Macklin. Honestly it's a bit of selective reasoning. When Junior stops a guy like Lee while behind on points, it's proof of how great he is and how he gets it done in the end. When Sexy stops a guy like Barker while ahead on points, it's proof that he's "slipping".
