Stop playing dumb (or are you being yourself here?). You said there there were no insults. I showed you insults, now you try to change the subject. This kind of childish behavior won't fly here, I will mercilessly keep getting you back on track and make you accountable for all the things you say. Frankly, arguing with you makes me feel like I am playing chess with a pigeon: I carefully set up the pieces, with thought and deliberation, you flap your wings on the board and poop on it, then strut around like you won. And Of course it didn't occur, we both know that. But its also a fairly well known, but conveniently committed fact, that Wlad pushed for the rematch and that Sanders was approached with a rematch immediately. He chose to fight for WBC instead, more a real belt.
Knocked down, yeah. Moorer hit him with a short left hook in the 1st and White fell as if shot. He was down in the 8th as well and was receiving a pasting in the 10th but managed to last the distance...barely. White wasn't a bad fighter, a journeyman type but he had some skill. But his size could not compensate against better class heavies. Here is a little bit of White against Alex Garcia. (Not one of his better moments.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qEb7rDlQDY
Not really, because at the amateur level boxing has always been an international sport. The US was still dominant up until a few years ago. To illustrate by way of example, Marciano was a huge baseball fan and tried out for a pro team. (Forget which one) Had he made it, he would have been a baseball player, not a boxer. I'm not saying a basketball player or footballer can make it in boxing because it takes a lifetime to master any sport at the highest level, but I'm saying that guys who maybe would have maybe been good boxers are going for other sports. Not all the time obviously, but a lot of the time.
Its a legitimate theory, and we will have a chance to test it since Floyd Jr is the highest paid athlete in the world, and that should encourage young americans to pursue boxing instead of NBA, especially considering how hard it is to make it in NBA pro ranks (there isn't exactly a shortage of 7 feet tall players) where as heavyweight boxing only has 5 people at the top above 6'6.
Thing is, for the longest time the giants were uncoordinated, slow and with poor reaction time (the typical trifecta of gigantism ). Giants like Tyson though, have better coordination, decent hand speed, and his reaction time is on par with a non-giant, which is what makes him so dangerous. Valuev, at 7 feet, wasn't like that. He was so painfully slow, a 40 + Holy looked like speedy gonzalez next to him.
so when the argument accurately depicts Wlad as not strong , its not allowed. but when the argument inaccurately depicts say, Lewis, as not strong, then its ok. I am DEFINTELY accountable for saying that Wlad got wiped out in minutes by a guy who having never achieved anything, was in his worst form EVER as a shot2**** 37 year old retiree. You keep on accounting me for that! please do. Truth is a great thing to keep tabs on, unless you can prove that it didn't happen.
Corrie actually says that he doesn't know why Wlad didn't seek a rematch.http://www.boxingnews24.com/2010/06...hy-wladimir-klitschko-never-sought-a-rematch/ keep the lies up, whilst pretending others are lying.
I don't lie out of a principle, and base everything I say on facts, to the best of my knowledge. Klitschko requested an immediate rematch with Sanders. Sanders was co-promoted by Universum after his win over Klitschko, and was hoping to capitalize on his sudden luck, only to have the rematch (which would have made a lot of money for him) denied to him, and being forced to fight the then mandatory Lamon Brewster, for little money. He obviously didn't want any of that, and he tried to look for big names and big fights, while Wladimir was put on the sideline, despite his desire for a rematch. After Sanders failed to have a Tua fight (another big name/high payday), he went for the next best thing: WBC vacant title vs Vitali Klitschko. To calm Wlad down, Universum heads promised Wlad a crack at the wbo vacant title vs Lamon Brewster. The rest is history.
Ok, time to dissect your bull**** and organize your incoherent thoughts: Point a, made by you: YOU did not insult klitschko. Proof to the contrary: "Ran leaving a brown trail". If that isn't insult, then I don't know what is. Point b, made by me: Sanders had underrated fast hands, and was a very talented heavyweight, with poor discipline. To prove my point, I provide a video where an out of shape, sick with a flu (speculation by Sanders) Corrie gives a war in the ring to a Prime Hasim Rahman, who I maintain is a legit top level heavyweight, as evident by his fights with the likes of Tua and Lewis. You respond to that saying I am making this a race thing, and only support Sanders because he is white, leaving out the story of me actively following Sander's career and feeling he is being unjustly disregarded as a nobody. Point c: You claim Wlad would lose to (insert names here) because he has lost in the past to fighters you called "Utter shite" - bring back point a, clearly an insult. To which I use BOXING ANALYSIS of a technique flaw that Wladimir used to posses, and the strong point that Sanders had that just happened to match exactly that weakness (Which I illustrate in the video posted). YOU IGNORE THIS POINT COMPLETELY. This was a one time occurrence, and since then Wlad has closed off that defensive gap, and no other left hander will catch him like that. Why don't you address these points and please, if you can, stay on topic.
And also, this applies to all those who try to debate me: Please learn basic rules of logic and at least get a vague understanding of boxing technique. A boxer can have a technique flaw that will make him vulnerable to a certain punch or a certain combination: Wlad overreaching with his right cross made him wide open for a left cross counter, the most devastating counter in boxing that most of the time leads to knockout losses (the momentum of a boxer moving forward, balance shifted to the front foot, neck extended, is being met with a punch, adding to the overall damage). All truly great boxers do not have open flaws like that, and require combination work to discover flaws. That's what makes combination fighters so dangerous: by throwing multiple punches, they create the openings that their opponents wouldn't normally have themselves. That's the origin of the term : There is no blueprint. A blueprint would be a combination/movement mixed with a certain punch combo that leaves the opponent open to an attack. Mayweather as a tactical genius, was hit with a 3rd punch of a 3 punch combination thrown by Maidana, because he anticipated the first two and blocked them but predicting 3 punches ahead is hard even for him (I have gifs if people are curious).
I'm not particularly a Klitschko fan, I just recognize a great champion when I see one. I just call out ignorant Americunts who denigrate his legacy because he smashed all the American contenders available, isn't American and chooses not to fight in American casinos. Funny this coming from the guy that is a premier member of Mikey's fanclub.
