Chageav and Peter have good shots to beat Wlad. Povetkin can be a very good fighter but he isn't very big and on film he isn't what a lot of people make him out to be. Haye has yet to prove himself.

I doubt he goes undefeated for the next 5, but I doubt there's anyone around who can in the next 2, unless Peter improves rapidly.

Better question--who can beat him in the next few years AND will be likely to face him in that time frame?

I haven't seen Povetkin but people seem to hype him up a lot..I'm not holding my breath for him. I don't think Peter can handle him. He has zero technique with his punches and Wlad was only hurt seriously when hit behind the head for the most part. He knows what to do when he gets in trouble and after Peter had him in trouble he came back and staggered Peter in the 12th.

In 4-5 years, absolutely, someone will come along. 5 years is a long time for a heavyweight. And anyone that claims conditioning will play a factor is dead wrong. If that was the case he wouldn't have gone 12 with Sam Peter, and that was recently.

He is clinical, calm, and precise. I don't think anyone in the current crop can be hoped to do anything but hope for a lucky shot. Certainly nobody is going to outbox him. I'm hoping somebody comes along soon that can join Wlad at the top, whether it be Povetkin, or someone coming up under the radar.

Possibly Peter in a rematch, another one of the Russians, or Golota.

    What inside game?

Someone needs to grow a pair and try to take the fight to him. Don't let him decide the pace of the fight because your screwed if he does. Corrie Sanders had it right, just go right at him.

It ain't that easy these days when his jab will be in your face with 50%+ accuracy

Of course not, his jab has ATG power.

But getting inside is the only chance to beat him, no ones going to beat him on the outside outjabbing him.

povetkin is an allrounder but is rather agresive nice jab but is a power jab to break through guards...he doesnt have the size....not in hieght but in frame there isnt enough wieght to him.

good in everything...but i think he will fall apart solis has the advnatge of being a bit more defencive where as povvetking could turn into the next gatti if he goes down the crowd pleasing route.but he is a young man and has alot of talent.

time will tell but solis is a bit more snappy where as povetkin is like hatton very aggresive with a big ton of heart.

good luck for both these guys:good
