Yeah tbf most people who would be interested in buying this PPV would have access to the channels. You make a valid point and the numbers will probably be low but this won’t be the main reason.

Like you also I order (some) Sky PPVs via the website stream only. I pretty much just use my TV for FIFA these days.

 

Think they will have to do some sort of promotional deal like buy 24 beers get the boxing for a tenner with Budweiser or some beer company or how ever it works, sure sky done something like that for the football? as matchroom has the causal fans Carl and josh will struggle. personally I think whyte and Chisora build up will make people choose that over frampton Warrington.

A wee thought could anyone see josh or Carl being “injured” causing a delay to the fight??

 

Has the price point been confirmed? I wonder if they go in at a £9.99 or £14.99 price point to try and get those that re on the fence or which one to order.

I think BT and Sky to a much lesser extent are not up with latest viewing trends. I think Warrington v Frampton will do no more than 100k buys and Fury v Wilder 400k (think it would do 1 million on Sky ppv).

 

Just make the Frampton fight free to air its not a PPV fight plus it will get embarrassed by the Sky PPV

 

They should make it free completely on that channel they use for the odd free champions league match, could really put a dampener on hearns ppv numbers

 

Frampton is not a PPV fighter he flopped massively after a huge build up on Sky against Quigg that's why Eddie wasn't bothered when he joined BT

 

You were half right up until the last part. Eddie did try and sign him to be fair..

His motivation for signing Frampton away from Cyclone was the fake believe that he was a massive draw the reality is Frampton has only a small hardcore following from NI similar to Warrington only being popular in Leeds their PPV would flop even without strong competition from Whyte and Chisora

Finding all these posts about how to order a PPV enlightening - never tried to order a PPV so never knew the mugths had to jump through hoops to order some PPVs.

 

Can't give BT my money even if I wanted to. They literally don't have an option to stream it which in this day and age is laughable.

 

Fair enough bro..i couldn't imagine not having a tv lol..if i went into your living room the first thing i would ask is where the f is your tv!
