Because they know you are a yellow-bellied gimp who will just cough up and literally throw money at Hearn if you had the chance.

No I'm against it. Hearn's spin when he joined DAZN is the whole scheme was to put an end to PPV. This completely contradicts it.

Dazn will probably get away with charging the £7.99 plus the £30 PPV, people on here underestimate the amount of Matchroom and Eddie simps in the UK. Boxing in the UK is and has never been aimed at the Hardcore we are a small minority an mean absolutely nothing in terms of money to any of the UK promotors and broadcasters all they care about is how many simps are willing to pay £30 for Whyte vs Ruiz and i would hazard a guess at quite a few when Eddie stats giving his spiel to koooooggggzzzz.

It just looks like a failing business that is looking for ways to turn the ship around. I wonder what the fighters that have left sky, or are thinking of leaving sky, are thinking.

Eddie Hearn says a lot of things. It wasn't that long ago he was crying on an ifl interview when a boxer passed away in America, yet continues to promote and have drug cheats headline cards.

Someone has to fund every business. Netflix ate up $3.1 billion and was still issuing debt as recently as 3 years ago.

I would assume Blavatnik is underwriting DAZN, on the basis the markets will fill in the gap later on - via IPO or selling some of his equity or both. He could of course go out to the market and take on equity partners, but maybe he doesn't want or need to.

He clearly believes in it to go this far in.

Was always going to happen, no way are Joshua, Whyte and loads of others going to go from the massive SKY PPV money to fighting for a tenner in front of ten people on DAZN, it also massively decreases their commercial viability, main stream SKY you'll get Under Amour, Lynx etc after you on DAZN with ten people watching you'll get Bill Bradley Accountants sponsoring it

I said it in the other thread, DAZN will never make money ever, it's a model that doesn't work unless they start charging the same prices as SKY and BT, it's pretty simple you can't see what others sell for £70 for £8, plus in the UK they literally have nothing

If DAZN offered something semi original along the lines of the world boxing super series, with regular top fights, then maybe I'd resubscribe at 8 quid a month. But they offer the same dross as usual, sub par cards which are no better, sometimes worse, than a channel 5 card.

But PPV is an absolute joke. Sadly Hearn has made his bed and mid level boxers expect a massive bag of swag each time they lace up their gloves.
