Hello. Ive never watched The Contender before. The new series starts this week, 4th September in the USA. I know its shown in the UK as well. Anyone any info on what channel and time? Thanks

Rhoshii Wells (30, Las Vegas, 18-2-2, 10 KOs). Rubin Williams (31, Detroit, 29-2-1, 16 KOs). Thats the full list of the fighters. Soliman is in there too.
Soliman and Bika are actually contenders. If they beat the pack then they could deserve a new title shot while having some good money. I'm rooting for Paul Smith though.
:yep i remember somone saying "why's he called sugar poo":huh and somone said "becuase his grandmother used to call him poo"...cool thats has sorted everything out:rofl anyways he is simingly very god so you never know....if there was one super middle i want on the contender it's a man by the name of david banks he was the one who without any amatuer experience totally outhustled, outboxed and outwitted manfredo jr...who was a very very strong amatuer 200+ with less than 20 losses is very good. but ran out of steam while the peter piledriver just stumbled foreward and just ran over him than boxing or beating him. also a journeyman i always love to watch is darnell boone.he is the super mid version of emanuel augutsu immensly slick low power good work rate just doesnt seem to win.
Paul Smith Is Better Than Any Of The Shite That Has Been On The Contendor. He Would Of Won It In The Past. I Don't Know About This Year. I Am Going To Watch It This Year With Him Being On. I And Other Respected Cage Fighters And Boxer I Know, Have Always Suspected That The Series Was Staged, LIKE A LOT OF THE REALITY TV SHITE NOWDAYS
****ING **** THATS TYPICAL OF BRITISH TV PROGRAMMING. i AM NOT THE BIGGEST FAN OF THE SERIES BUT ITS BETTER THAN MOST OF THE SHITE ON TV THE FINAL SERIES OF THE SOPRANOS HAS YET TO BE SHOWN ON OUIR TV YET. WE GET TREATED TO SHITE LIKE THE WEST WING, DESPERATE TO BE ****ED HOUSE WIVES
i'm sure it will also be well documented in the backgrounds section of the show! btw whats everyones feelings about knowing the results of the fights before watching each episode? the good thing about the first series was that i wasn't a frequent user of internet forums and i just avoided any boxing magazines so i watched the shows not knowing the results. it might be more difficult this time, unless everyone can agree not to put any spoilers in thread titles. :think i'd rather not be ghost for 6 weeks or however long the show lasts...especially with the fights coming up in september and october.
I hope he does well young smithy but he is going to be mixing with a class of opponent that he has never been in before. I do not think the short fight set of of the fights will suit him either.
Only Bika and Soliman are the class of opponents that he hasn't mixed In with by the look of things. Soliman's small for Super Middle.
